Venice Lott Reader

Venice Lott Reader, 85, of Trenton, died on July 9, 2008 at Sunshine Terrace in Logan, Utah. Mrs. Reader was born on January 15, 1923, the daughter of Gerald and Velva Lott. She lived her life in Trenton and in Salt Lake City . Mrs. Reader worked at J. C. Penney and at the Cache Valley Dairy.
On December 26, 1941 Venice married Legrand H. Reader. The couple had 5 children and 14 grandchildren. Larry Reader and his children: Frank, Cory, Lora, Lisa, Dawn Lynn and Michael. Linda Monson (Boyd) of Clearfield , UT and their children: Quinn, Kevin and Kimberly. Analyn Reader of Greybull , WY . Bonnie Harrington (David) of Greybull , WY and their children: Kellie, Patrick and Brian. Doug Reader (Melanie) of Smithfield , UT and their children: Ashlee and Kandace.
Mrs. Reader was preceded in death by her husband Legrand, her parents, her sister Geraldine Merrill, her brother Melvin Lott, her son Larry, two daughters-in-law: Judy C. Reader and Judy L. Reader, and her granddaughters: Lora Petcoff and Dawn Lynn McCreey.
A viewing will be at the Allen Mortuary of North Logan on Monday, July 14, 2008 from 6 – 8 PM. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 15, at the Trenton Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
