Vickey Ann DeHek, 79, of Logan, Utah passed away of natural causes on Wednesday May 3, 2023, at Legacy House of Logan in Logan, Utah.
She was born on February 11, 1944, in Sunset Utah, her parents were Harry and Ann Jensen of Logan Utah.
Vickey was a graduate of South Cache High School Class of 1962 in Hyrum Utah. She then married John in August of the same year.
Vickey loved musical theater and performing. Throughout her life she was very active in the local Theater life. She was part of the musical group “Tons of Fun” with her cousin Linda, performing at events in and outside of the Valley. Vickey performed in many plays with the Utah State University Theater Department, such as Fiddler on the Roof, Festival of the American West, Carousel, Pirates of Penzance, The Mikado and her best-known performance as Bloody Mary in South Pacific. She loved attending as many of the local performances at the Ellen Eccles Theatre as she could. Vickey also loved to cook and crochet.
Vickey is survived by her husband John DeHek, 3 daughters, Debra (Doug) Anderson, Christi (Brian) Thompson, Kim (Trent) Reece, 3 sons, Stephen (Tiffany) DeHek, Bryon DeHek, Brandon (Jenn) DeHek, 26 Grandchildren, 16 Great grandchildren with 2 on the way as well as one sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter.
As per Vickey’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. Vickey will be buried at the Providence City Cemetery.
