Victor Wessman Jensen, Sr.
Brigham City– Vic Jensen, 84 passed away of heart failure, November 20, 2006.
Born July 5, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Charles and Verona Levin Jensen, youngest of 13 children. Married Joyce Bleck, October 2, 1945 in Minneapolis, MN and later sealed in the Oakland LDS temple. Later married Clyda Seegmiller, June 25, 1977 in the Oakland LDS temple.
He graduated from Granite High School in 1940. He attended Utah State University and BYU. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from 1943-1945. He served 40 years as a Scout Executive for Boy Scouts of America and awarded the BSA Silver Beaver Award in 1990. Served as a temple worker in the Oakland, CA LDS temple.
Survived by sons Wes (Reni) Jensen, Jeff (Barbara) Jensen of San Jose, CA.; grandchildren, Lorinda, Wendy, Suzanne, Brian, Collin, Eileen; great-grandchildren, Jossten, Bradley, Carlee, Alyssa, Kailer, KateLyn of CA, UT, ID. Preceded in death by wife Joyce, and Clyda.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006 at 10:30 am. at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center St. Logan, UT. A viewing will be held beginning at 9 am. Interment at the Providence Cemetery, River Heights, UT at 12 noon.
