Virginia B. Alder

Virginia Rose Bruderer Alder was born April 11, 1924 to Conrad and Anna Bruderer in Logan, UT. She was the oldest daughter of 15 children, 13 brothers and one sister. She is survived by one sister and seven brothers.
She married Melvin Dean Alder, who preceded her in death October 11, 2000. She passed away on October 15, 2015, in Logan, UT, surrounded by her family. They raised Linda, Gary, Darwin, Darrell, and Jeana. Keith and Brent died in infancy. They had 24 grandchildren and 72 great grandchildren.
Virginia was an active and stalwart member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She officiated in the Ogden Temple with her husband, Dean, for 20 years.
Her greatest career was that of mother, and homemaker.
A viewing will be held Monday, October 19, 2015, with visitation at Allen Mortuary, 420 E 1800 N, North Logan, UT, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Services will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel on 2540 N. 400 East, North Logan, UT, with a prior viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Interment will be at the Logan Cemetery following the services.
