On June 10, 2016, Warren Madsen Allen, 89 of Logan was peacefully reunited with his Heavenly Father. Warren was born in Logan, Utah, on March 8, 1927, the oldest son of Thomas Smith and Inez Madsen Allen. He grew up in Preston, Idaho. He served two terms in the U. S. Army and became an officer. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Utah State University. On June 16, 1954, he married the love of his life, LaVeda Faye Snowball, and they were later sealed for time and eternity in the Logan LDS Temple. Together they raised four children, Gregory Warren Allen (Peggy) of Preston, Idaho, Kristie Allen Fritch of Logan, Thomas Courtney Allen (Paula) of Logan and Melanie Allen Williams of Logan. Warren served the community for 30 years as a Social Worker for the State of Utah, Division of Family Services, and as a Therapist for the Mental Health Clinic. He also thoroughly enjoyed his retired years spending time with his loved ones, checking out classic cars, and riding his motorcycles. He loved music and often entertained the family by singing and playing his Hawaiian steel guitar. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, parents, a brother Winston Allen, sister-in-law Renee Allen, son-in-law John Carl Fritch and one great-grandchild, Weston Campbell. He is survived by his children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a brother, Gary Dee Allen (Reta). We will celebrate the life of this amazing man Wednesday June 15, 2016.
