William "Uncle Bill" Edward Lewis

April 5, 1954 — November 6, 2015

Bill Lewis, 61, of Smithfield, Utah passed way unexpectedly on November 6, 2015. He was born in Murray, Utah , into a family of 17. Bill attended West High School in SLC and was eager to spread his wings. He moved to Logan to attend USU and to become a pilot.
Bill never married nor had any children, but quickly became part of the Rich and Shellie Gladfelder family over the last 26 years. He was "Uncle Bill: to each of their kids, Radley, Raysha, Rayslyn and Rayden and grandkids, Traxton, Stone and Banks.
"Family isn't always blood. It's for those who come in to your life for a reason. One who makes a difference... cause you need them...as much as they need you."
Services will be Monday, Nov 16, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Logan-Cache Airport (Leading Edge Aviation Hanger) with a viewing just prior starting at 11:30 am. The airport was chosen due to how much time Bill spent there and his love for flight! Funeral directors are Allen-Hall Mortuary, Logan.
Interment will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery. Memories may be shared online at www.allenmortuaries.net
