William Brenchley Hall
Wellsville -- William Brenchley Hall, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend, peacefully left this world on October 22, 2007 at Logan Regional Hospital. Dad fought a courageous 17 year battle with cancer.
He was born on July 3, 1934 in Wellsville. He was second of four sons born to Evan and Gretta Hall of Wellsville, and grew up on the family farm. After Graduation from South Cache High School he enlisted in the U.S .Air Force. He married Arlene Roskelley from Smithfield in the Logan LDS Temple. Arlene joined him in Portland where they made their first home. After completion of his 4 years service they returned to Utah.
His love for heavy equipment took him to the road construction industry were he worked for 37 years, the majority of which was for Legrand Johnson Construction Co. He loved the outdoors, flying, fishing, hunting, & pleasure riding in the mountains. He served in several church callings including the Scouting program, the Elders Quorum, and was a High Priest of the Wellsville 4th Ward.at the time of his death. On October 14, 2007 they celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, and his second son Terry R Hall. He is survived by his wife Arlene Roskelley Hall, Wellsville, sons Kim (Cynthia) Hall, Rick (Sherry) Hall of Smithfield, and daughter Sindy (Blake) Brenchley of Wellsville.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, October 25th at Wellsville 4th ward Chapel(49 west 200 south Wellsville). Friends may call at the Allen Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center St in Logan on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm and on Thursday morning 10:30 to 11:30am at the church.
