William Melvin Glad Jr.
Hyrum UT – William Melvin Glad Jr. passed away at home on June 11, 2009. Born on May 13, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Gwen and William Glad Sr.
Mel served an LDS mission from 1968 to 1970, he married Kristeen Eggett on November 4, 1972, and they were sealed in the Logan LDS temple on August 4, 1979. He worked for Logan City for many years, and was currently employed at Innovar in Logan. He loved to take Bear Dog for rides in the car, fish and spend time with his precious grandchildren.
He is survived by wife, Kristeen E. Glad; their two sons, Brad (Joy) and Jason (Jamie); four daughters, Heather Seamons (Daren), Cammie Johnson (Nate), Katie Bohm (Mike) and Megan; his sister Jan Cammomile (Dave) and brother Steven (Linda) as well as 13 grandchildren Kaedan & Bryson (parents Brad and Joy), London & Jordon (parents Heather and Daren), Dallin, Taylor & Jaymon (parents Cammie and Nate), Hailee, Tanner & Topher (parents Katie and Mike), Wyatt, Traci & Josie (parents Jason & Jamie). He was preceded in death by his parents Gwen and William Sr.
Friends may call Wednesday June 17, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m at Allen-Hall Mortuary, services will be held Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the Hyrum stake Center (595 South 200 East) at 12:00 p.m, a viewing will be held prior to services on Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30.
