Wilma Leavitt Moores

WILMA LEAVITT MOORES, of Richmond died May 30th at home surrounded by family, she was 85 years old. The funeral will be at the Richmond Stake Center at 135 W. Main St. on Thursday June 7th at 11:00 am. Viewing will be Wednesday June 6th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Allen-Hall Mortuary at 34 E. Center in Logan. There will also be a viewing at the Richmond Stake Center Thursday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Co. Wilma was born on February 5, 1927 in Las Vegas, Nv. to Lawrence Dee Leavitt and Lila Fern Hunt. She had 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She served an LDS mission to Tennessee and Kentucky. She married Judson Clay Moores in the St. George temple in March of 1953. Judson was in the Air Force and they lived in several countries before they retired in Aurora, Co. In 2005 Wilma moved to Richmond with some of her family. She is survived by her children Danny Moores of Lake Dallas, TX , Stanley Moores of Littleton, Co., Kathy Dodson of Richmond, Ut and Vicky Daniels of Elizabeth, Co. She has 12 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren who will miss her greatly.
