Wilma Ann Stephenson Weeks

Wilma Ann Stephenson was born July 24, 1915 In Lewiston, Utah. Wilma passed away October 26, 2008 in Logan, Utah. She was the youngest child of George Q. Stephenson and Olive L. Talbot. She grew up on the family farm in Lewiston with her brothers and sister. Wilma was a graduate of Preston High School.

She married Orson E. Weeks in 1934. They lived in several communities in Cache Valley. She is survived by nine of her ten children: Oleen Peterson, DeVon E. Weeks, Joan Gollnick, Monte G. Weeks (deceased), Linda A. Jones, Bonnie Zamorski, O. Alan Weeks, Delmer D. Weeks, David G. Weeks, and Kenneth W. Weeks.

Wilma was a devoted mother who gave unselfishly to all those around her. Her life was filled with service to others. She served in a variety of positions in the LDS Church, most notably as a primary teacher for 19 years. She was also a nursery worker for many years.

She had suffered from dementia for the past several years and is now free to rejoin those who have gone before.

Services will be held at the Lewiston, Utah First Ward building , 10 South 1600 West at 12:00 noon, Monday, November 3, 2008. A viewing will precede the funeral at 10:00 A.M. until 11:30 AM. prior to services. Interment will be in the Lewiston Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Allen Mortuary of North Logan.
