Winston Dale Pitcher passed from this life on August 21, 2016, due to natural causes.
Winston or Wimpy as most friends and family lovingly called him was born in Smithfield to Henry Glen Pitcher and May Isabelle Smith. Dad was raised in Cache Valley and never left, only to give service to his country during the Korean Conflict.
He worked at Sears in various departments but loved the automotive department the best. He knew the residents of Cache valley by the car they drove. Wimpy had a love of cars, the faster the better! He could tell the make and year just by the grill on the front of the car.
Even though he was a great salesman, his greatest qualities were helping out others, his great sense of humor and his ability to love all and not pass judgment. If he was helping then he was happy. He especially loved children!
He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and May, his siblings Glen, Harry, Barbara and his wife, Nadine Davis and first wife, Alice Anderson. He is survived by his two sisters, Eunice and Renee. Children, Johnny Pitcher, Jan (Steven) Sara and Jeff Nall. Along with 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street in Logan. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 25 in the Logan City Cemetery. Please meet at the Allen-Hall Mortuary at 10:30 AM for a procession to the Logan City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, reach out to a child and make them happy, dad would want that more than anything else. Condolences may be sent to the family at
