Wynona Maughan Steele, 93, passed away Thursday morning, June 14, 2018 in Logan, Utah. She was born November 4, 1924 in Cache Valley, Utah to James Charles Maughan and Wynona Pearl Saunders Maughan. She is the oldest of six children; Orpha, Verlan, Francis, Arden, and Calvin preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her beloved husband; mother and father; and two son-in-laws.

She was raised in Benson, Utah. She married Clyde James Steele on July 21, 1945 in Benson. Their marriage was solemnized on October 21, 1993 in the Logan LDS Temple. She met Clyde when he was stationed in Utah during WWII. They lived in Syracuse, New York after their marriage and both worked for General Electric and later L.C. Smith Typewriter company. In 1949 they moved back to Benson, Utah. Wynona worked for Moe-O-Day Factory in Logan until she retired.
