Zelda Hale Lemon

May 20, 1919 — June 10, 2006

Zelda was reunited with her family on June 10th, 2006. She was born on May 20th, 1919 in Groveland, Idaho to Dr. Alvin and Julia Dean Hale. She was married to Dr. CM. H. Wilcox in 1937 and had two beautiful children, Julona and Richard. They were later divorced. She married T.O. Lemon in 1956 and that marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. They had a son, Darrell, and a daughter, Tauni Lei.
Zelda was a licensed beautician for 63 years and touched the lives of so many people throughout her life. She has always had a firm testimony of the gospel and enjoyed sharing it with others. She and her husband T.O. were home teaching and visiting teaching companions for many years. Together they built a lifetime of service and love for those around them and was dearly loved in return by her family, neighbors and friends. Zelda bore the strength of spirit given to her by her ancestors. She was strong and often quite firm!
Zelda loved canyon picnics with her sweetheart, T.O; autumn colors and T.O. lovingly giving her the first rose that bloomed from their garden in the spring. She had a great love for music and singing in any form.
Zelda was the matriarch of a wonderful posterity. Her children, Julona (Lee) Fackrell, Richard (Linda) Wilcox, both of Logan and Tauni (Christopher) Busch of Brigham City, 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents Alvin and Julia Hale, her son Darrell, two brothers, Dr. Wilford Hale and Dean Hale and three sisters, Otella Rich Buttars, Donna and Beulah Hale.
There will be a memorial for friends and family on Friday the 16th of June at 6pm at Willow Park in Logan.
