Zora Chapman Larson,89, passed away peacefully of natural causes on October 30, 2013.
She was born June 8, 1924, in Aberdeen, Idaho, to James Erastus and Eva Elida Chapman. In her early childhood, the family relocated to Logan, Utah. There she attended elementary school and graduated from Logan High in 1942.
She met and married the love of her life, Roy Dee Larson, on October 26, 1942, in Preston Idaho. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple on October 26, 1959. They enjoyed 53 years together before Roy died in 1995.
Zora was very talented. She was a great cook and excelled in making rolls and pies. She was accomplished in crochet. She made many afghans and enjoyed counted cross-stitch until her vision failed her, but her greatest joy was her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Gaylin (Rick) Edwards of Shelley, Idaho; Joan (Paul) Otteson of Kaysville, Utah; twelve grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren (with three more anticipated in the spring). Also her sisters, Opal C Thomson and Theone C Bodrero.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Dee Larson, son Ronnie D Larson, and daughter-in-law Cheryl A Larson.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 4, 2013, at 11 am at the Allen-Hall Mortuary Chapel, 34 E Center, Logan, Utah. There will be a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30am Interment will be at the Hyrum City Cemetery. Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family by visiting
