Jason is married to Lisa Bowen Allen, both were raised in Logan. Jason is the son of James R. (founder of Allen-Hall Mortuary) and Faye Allen. Lisa is the daughter of David and LaRae Bowen of Jack's Tire and Oil. They have four sons, Jase and Dayna Allen, Drew and Jasmine Allen, Alex Allen, Austin Allen.
Jason attended Bountiful and Logan High Schools, Utah State University, Dixie State University and graduated from Cypress Mortuary Science College in 1982. He is a member of the Utah Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, Rotary Club of Logan, USU Old Main Society (Go Aggies!) and currently lives in River Heights. Lisa and Jason love Cache Valley and all that it offers. They are proud to be called "Best Mortuary of Northern Utah".
Jase grew up in the funeral industry following in the footsteps of his father Jason, uncle Jeff and grandfather Jim. He started mowing lawns and washing hearses here at Allen-Hall when he was in school at Logan High. During college, he assisted on viewings and funerals.
After graduating from Utah State University, he attended the University of Nebraska School of Law and is also an attorney specializing in estate planning. After law school, Jase attended the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service and completed a funeral apprenticeship under his father Jason.
As a licensed funeral director and embalmer, he has come to appreciate what an honor it is to serve the families of Cache Valley. Jase and his wife Dayna have five children and live in Providence.
Drew was born and raised in Logan, Utah, the second oldest son of Jason and Lisa Allen. He is third generation in the Allen Mortuaries business and first got involved in the family business as a kid.
Drew graduated from Logan High School in 2004 and from Utah State University in 2010. Drew thoroughly enjoys working closely with families in various aspects of the business; whether it's helping plan a funeral or designing and consulting on headstones.
Drew is married to Jasmine Orton of Salt Lake City and together they have two beautiful daughters. Drew enjoys golfing, good food, and spending time with family and friends.
Jeff was born in Logan, Utah the oldest son of James R. and Faye Allen. Has worked in the funeral service profession for over 40 years. Recently retired CEO and owner of Allen-Hall Mortuary.
Jeff attended Bountiful High School, Snow College and graduated from Utah State University. Graduated from the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science in California. Served his funeral apprenticeship under his father James R. Allen.
Actively involved in his church and community having served as President of the Logan Lions Club. Former member of the Utah Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association.
Married to Lynda Christensen. Parents of six children: Justin, Mindy, Brett, Brady, Chelsea, Whitney.

Scott was born and raised in Smithfield, Utah where he attended schooling and graduated from Sky View High School in 1996. He then attended Utah State University where he earned his bachelor's degree in Marketing in 2003. Shortly after, he was hired to work at Allen-Hall Mortuary as a full-time employee. He attended and graduated from Arapahoe Community College in Denver, Colorado with a Mortuary Science degree in 2005. He loves his profession and enjoys helping those that deal with the loss of their loved ones.
His parents are Kent and Kay Haueter--long time residents of Smithfield, Utah. Scott married Aleisha Rae Bowen and together they have 4 children. Scott enjoys soccer, hunting, and many outdoor activities. He has a keen sense of humor and finds joy in life.
When Dan was 12 years old he visited Allen–Hall Mortuary. He remembers the quiet peaceful feeling he felt and wondered if he would ever be able to work as a director at Allen-Hall. Dan started in the funeral business in fall of 2003 where he did an apprenticeship in Evanston, WY followed by school in Oregon where he received an associate degree in Mortuary Science. He and his family spent 14 years in St. George at a local funeral home then his dream became a reality when he joined the Allen-Hall family in 2020.
Dan grew up in Cache Valley and attended Mountain Crest High School. Not having any athletic ability, he joined the German club which took him around Europe for a summer. After studying German for 3 years in high school, he served an Ecclesiastical mission in Omaha, Nebraska.
Dan married his high school sweetheart Amy Smart from Millville, Utah and together they have 3 boys: Anthon, Noah and Camden.
Dan has a tender place in his heart for all the service men and women who have served this country. He shares the name Reed after his father’s uncle who was a tail gunner in WWII, shot down and killed over St. Loe, France.
Dan enjoys oldies music, being with his family, traveling, world flags, and baseball, and hopes to one day visit all the MLB ballparks. He’s currently at 19.
Tyler was born and raised in Logan, Utah where he graduated from Logan High School and served a mission in Louisville, Kentucky for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication.
Tyler worked for many years in public transportation serving individuals with disabilities. He began working part time for Allen Mortuaries as an on-call employee. He loved helping families shortly after the loss of their loved one. Which led to a desire to make a career change. He attended and graduated from Arapahoe Community College in Denver, Colorado with a Mortuary Science Degree.
Tyler’s parents are Stuart and Janet Wilkinson—longtime residents of Logan, Utah. He married Krista Whitteker and together they have four sons. Tyler loves being a part of a family and together they enjoy marching band, movies, sports and spending time together.
Valden Christensen grew up in Rigby, Idaho in a large family. After completing a mission in Pusan, Korea he graduated from Utah State University. Valden and his wife, Valerie Benson, started their family in Logan and are proud parents of three grown children-Spencer, Annika, and Carrie, as well as a son and daughter-in-law.
He discovered his passion for caring for others while working as a CNA at Sunshine Terrace in Logan, UT. After completing his Mortuary Science training in Mesa, Arizona, he moved to Caldwell, Idaho. While there, he dedicated over 20 years to serving families as a funeral director and being there for them in their most difficult times. He and his family are excited to be returning to Cache Valley.
In his free time, Valden enjoys music, cycling, traveling, and target shooting. He enjoys serving in the Church and being a member of the Lions Club. Valden's commitment to family, service, and his community is at the heart of everything he does.
Born and raised in Cache Valley, Jake graduated from Logan High School in 2016 and a few short months later started working for Allen-Hall. From a young age Jake always knew he wanted to work in the funeral industry and help serve people in their time of need. Jake wants to make it his personal goal that every family he helps feels comfort and at peace when working with them. Jake recently married his wife Rylee (Goodman) Nyman and is currently pursuing a degree in mortuary science and looks forward to continuing to serve his friends and family of Cache Valley for years to come!
Sydney Jenkins Crouch grew up in Logan, Utah just down the street from Allen-Hall Mortuary. Sydney is the office manager for Allen-Hall and looks forward to serving the families who come in and helping those in her very own community. She is very passionate about helping others and cannot wait to be a friendly face to those grieving.
