Allen Mortuaries History
When families are faced with the task of choosing a mortuary, they seek an establishment renowned for its long-standing reputation in delivering dignified, conscientious, efficient, and supportive service.
Allen Mortuaries takes great pride in our outstanding track record. While numerous funeral homes have entered and exited the industry throughout the years, we have persevered, flourishing as we faithfully serve the exceptional individuals of Cache Valley for over 85 years.
In July of 1938, W. Loyal Hall founded Hall Mortuary. Loyal demonstrated his keen business acumen and dedicated himself to rigorous efforts in serving families and giving back to the community. Through relentless hard work, the mortuary underwent significant growth, culminating in the expansion of the establishment in 1962, which included the construction of the chapel that stands to this day. Mr. Hall was a pillar in the community and operated the mortuary for 37 years.
In the 1990s, the Allen's purchased Cranney Mortuary in North Logan and renamed it Allen Mortuary of North Logan. That facility underwent a beautiful remodel after the purchase and is a quiet, secluded and reverent space that provides ample room for those in attendance for a visitation and gathering.
With multiple locations in the valley, along with unmatched tradition, quality and stability, the team at Allen Mortuaries looks forward to serving Cache Valley and its residents for many more generations.
